The brass|STUDENT PROGRAM

The brass|STUDENT PROGRAM is a classroom resource educators can use to teach students important personal finance skills. It is being provided at no cost to public high schools, thanks to the support of the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation.

The program consists of two main components:

  • brass|MAGAZINE Student Edition
A young adult lifestyle money magazine that reaches out to high school students about the money side of life™. brass content is written for young adults by young adults.
  • brass|STUDENT PROGRAM website
The website offers a place where teachers can share and download complementing classroom activities, access past articles and bonus online content. Students are able to view the brass SHOW, view the digital edition of the magazine and also submit their own content! Visit www.studentprogram.com

The program’s content supports Wisconsin’s Model Academic Standards for Personal Financial Literacy (state guidelines for what financial knowledge and skills students should have prior to graduation). The brass|STUDENT PROGRAM can be used on its own or in conjunction with existing personal finance curricula.
